Hallo liebes Forum,

wo kann man den den Schwellenwert der interaktiven CPW verändern / auslesen / auswerten ?
Hintergund ist die Systemmeldung CPI1479 im QSYSOPR-LOG.
Es handelt sich um eine 820 mit 2435 Prozessor + 1523 Interaktiver Erweiterung = 600 CPW + 120 CPW interaktiv.

solltest Du das R510 oder R520 haben so gibt es bei installiertem
5722PT1 den wrksysact Command. Ansonsten gibt es noch Shareware: http://www.precosis.com/wsa1.htm

Das Problem könnte auch durch das "bekannte" tool fast/400
gelöst werden. http://www.fast400.net

Bei der IBM gibt es über diese Fehlermeldung folgendes:
The CPI1479 message implies that the interactive activity has exceeded the capacity of the installed feature. The interactive feature installed on this system is capable of using a finite percent of the total system processing power for interactive work (applications that use a 5250-like datastream to communicate with the workstation). This finite percentage is determined by the interactive feature card installed in the system. The CPI1479 message is repeated every 60 minutes until the amount of interactive activity on the system is reduced below the threshold value. If the interactive workload is allowed to increase, interactive response times may become erratic, and total system throughput may be diminished due to the overhead incurred when the interactive threshold is exceeded. This message is also posted in the system history log (QHST).

The interactive threshold message CPI1479 is not supported on older models such as model S10.

The reason is that the threshold is only 1/3 of the interactive capacity on these models, so it was assumed that they would routinely exceed the threshold and that the message would be a nuisance.

The message is supported on these models: 170, 2xx, 7xx, 8xx, SB2, and SB3.

Hallo Tarasik,

Danke für die schnelle Antwort.

Ich dachte da aber mehr an ein Tool/Befehl um zu sehen wieviel
der 120 CPW verbraucht sind. Im WRKSYSACT kann ich ja nur
sehen wer am meisten CPU verbraucht, WRKSYSACT2 hat da nur
eine andere Sicht.

hast Du dir schon mal den WRKACTJOB angeschaut?
Da siehst Du zumindest wieviel Prozent CPU verwendet sind.

versuchs doch mal mit Management Central. Da kannst du dir über die Überwachungen hübsche Grafiken anzeigen lassen.

Vielen Dank für die Antworten, die Auswertung per Operations-Navigator *MANGEMENT-CENTRAL* erwies sich als geeignetes
Tool.
