IBM UPDATES IFS TOOLS
IBM has updated several of its twelve free, unsupported IFS utilities
with mostly bug fixes and better error and status messages. The
utilities are available in a V4R5 save file that includes both
compiled code and the ILE C source code. The utilities are listed
below, along with any applicable update notes:

ATTRIB
Similar to DOS's ATTRIB command, the ATTRIB utility allows IFS file
attributes to be updated.

CHGAUTALL
This runs the CHGAUT command on all files and subdirectories in the
specified directory.

CHGCCISD
This changes CCSID on one file or all files in a directory.

CHGOWNALL
This is similar to CHGAUTALL but uses CHGOWN command.

CHGPGPALL
This executes the CHGPGP command against all files, directories, and
subdirectories from the specified directory down.

CMDALL
This executes the specified command against all files, directories,
and subdirectories from the specified directory down.

DEL
This deletes one or more files.

DELTREE
Similar to DOS's DELTREE command, the DELTREE utility deletes all
files, directories, and subdirectories from the parent directory down.

DLTIFSF
This deletes a file from the IFS containing invalid characters.

DSPLINK
This tool displays the actual location that a symbolic link
references.

QRYIFSLIB
This tool dumps information such as file size, owner, group, etc., to
outfile QRYIFSLIB in library QGPL and sums the directory size.
-- UPDATED (v1.4): A new option was added to avoid traversing QSYS.LIB
from the root. In addition, this update fixes the last access
timestamp field when a zero encountered.

This tool renames an invalid file or directory name.
