Document Title:
DDM Request Fails with CPF9155 at Client

Document Description:
The message received is CPF9155 - Cannot communicate with DDM target system. The second-level text states that this could be an issue with the DDMACC (DDM/DRDA request access) network attribute. However, if this appears to be set up correctly (usually as *OBJAUT) and the user continues to get this message, there may be a problem with the user profile on the Application Server side of the DDM request.

Some possible causes for receiving this error on the Application Requester (client) side are: o The job description (JOBD) specified in the user profile on the Application Server does not exist.
o A current library (CURLIB) specified in the user profile on the Application Server does not exist.
o An initial program (INLPGM) specified in the user profile on the Application Server does not exist.
o Some other problem with the user profile on the Application Server.
If this error is received at the Application Requester, verify the problem is not with the DDMACC network attribute as indicated in the second-level text. If the DDMACC attribute is not the problem, the user should carefully examine the user profile on the client side for any of the above conditions. If none of the above conditions appear to be the problem, the QRWOPTIONS data area may be helpful in further debugging this type of problem. For more information on the QRWOPTIONS data area, refer to Rochester Support Center knowledgebase document 23453033, New DRDA QRWOPTIONS Debug Data Area.
