PROBLEM: The OnDemand Archive plug-in for iSeries Navigator does not appear on the list of plug-ins to choose from when attempting to install it.
CAUSE: The "Version = n" line of the mrisetup.ini file for the OnDemand Archive plug-in may be set incorrectly for V5.4 of Content Manager OnDemand.

RESOLUTION: For Common Server implementations, this problem can be resolved by applying Content Manager OnDemand V5.4 PTF SI19324. However, no PTF is available for Spool File Archive implementations. Follow the instructions below to change the Version = n line in the mrisetup.ini file for your Spool File Archive implementation.
    1. Edit the following file (or files; see below) in IFS on your iSeries server. You can use the following command:
    EDTF '/QIBM/ProdData/GUIPlugin/IBM.OnDemand/MRIxxxx/mrisetup.ini'
where MRIxxxx is a subdirectory that exists for every language you have installed on your system. For example, on a US English system, the file to edit would be:
    /QIBM/ProdData/GUIPlugin/IBM.OnDemand/MRI2924/mrisetup.ini
If you have multiple languages installed on your system, you will need to edit each of the mrisetup.ini files in each of the MRIxxxx directories.
    2. After you have issued the Edit File (EDTF ) command, check the Version = n line in the file. For Version 5 Release 4 of Content Manager OnDemand, the line should read Version = 6.
    3. Change the version number to 6 if necessary, and then press F3 to Save/Exit.
    4. Restart the process to install the plug-ins. OnDemand Archive should now appear in the selection list.

    Greetings!!
    Karsten
